Care Managers

HomeWell Care Managers are highly trained professionals with varied experiences — ranging from business managers to registered nurses to healthcare managers to mothers — allowing them to provide heartfelt care with 'real world' skills and experiences. Those skills coupled with HomeWell's proven care system leave our Care Managers professionally equipped to best serve even our most challenging clients.

As 'Senior Care Specialists', HomeWell Care Managers continually learn more about current industry standards and procedures, making them an essential resource for both our clients and Personal Assistants.

Personal Assistants

HomeWell understands the complexities of the aging process and is receptive to the emotional and physical demands placed on both our clients and Personal Assistants. For many seniors, we realize receiving 'care' can seem embarrassing and can erode self-dignity. That's why we call our caregivers "Personal Assistants". We are there to assist with daily activities.

HomeWell Personal Assistants excel in customized care situations. Our clients are placed in the care of Personal Assistants trained for their specific needs. Whether your loved one needs a home-cooked meal or more personal care, our Personal Assistants can be trusted to look after them as though they were part of the family.

There are Different Types of Personal Assistants:

Companions and Homemakers are individuals who provide clients with companionship, housekeeping, cooking, shopping and errands.

Home Health Attendants (HHAs) provide personal care including grooming, bathing assistance and medication reminders. They also provide companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation and errands.

Nursing Assistants Registered and Certified (NARs/NACs) generally have more training and experience in assisting clients with a wider range of personal care needs.

All employees are fully screened, pass a stringent national identity and background check and have excellent references.

Since our Care Managers and Personal Assistants both interact with clients and represent the trusted HomeWell name, it is imperative that our employee selection process be comprehensive.

HomeWell assures you that our Care Managers and Personal Assistants:

	Are subject to a criminal background check
	Have their Social Security Number verified
	Have their employment eligibility verified
	Are licensed and bonded by HomeWell
	Have a five year employment history, verified with reference checks
	Have a minimum two years of related experience
	Have two personal references verified
	Are thoroughly interviewed
	Undergo competency testing
	Are covered by workers compensation
	Undergo a thorough orientation process
	Undergo regular performance evaluations and continuing training
	Have a valid driver’s license when needed
	Are mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
